· I like your work, do you do family, portraits or private sessions?
Yes, would to love to talk with you about your needs. There are many varieties of portraiture from head-shots, fashion, grunge, editorial, natural, fine art and so on. You may have something specific in mind, lets talk.
· What sort of photography do you do?
Simply put, my genre is people. There are 2 main parts to the business that being:
David Eades Photography - where we specialise in Portraiture, Beauty, Fashion, Maternity photo shoots on location, in studio or a mixture of both. This includes couples, family and significant events requests. As we say at David Eades Photography we strive to capture your precious moments through beautiful and authentic photography or video. Art to be cherished by you and your family for generations. Have a look at my portfolio/galleries or DEPhotoAU on Instagram. And
ArtDoir - the focus here is empowerment and inner beauty through boudoir photography on location or in the studio. The capture of beautiful, meaningful and captivating work which can be cherished as a photo box or book, even prints or wall art as is needed. ArtDoir also undertakes both fine art and art nude concepts or endeavours. Visit my galleries or ArtDoir on Instagram.
Personal Creative Work - this is where is gets interesting. Creative Photography can be themed, conceptual, off the wall, stylised. This is often personal work where the time to create the look is planned and often detailed or takes time to create. The exciting times is when a a creative concept is included in portrait, fine art, boudoir or other works and the individuals bring their ideas, dreams and visions to the party to create a piece of work they have been imagining or dreaming of.
So yes, I would to love to talk with you about your ideas and photo shoot requirements. Let me know what you are looking for or an idea you have, timelines, location and lets talk
· Shoot Safety
David Eades Photography (myself) hold a current and valid WWC (Working with Children Card - issued by the Victorian Government) which is similar to the NSW Blue Card and similar schemes in other states. When youth (<18yo) are involved, the basic requirement is for all team members/partners to hold this check. The WWC (or similar) involves a police and criminal check having been undertaken to ensure the individual is suitable to work with younger members of the public.
In addition to this, with youth participants it is a requirement that a parent or legal guardian be present for the entire time they are on site or that David Eades Photography or any partner is working with the youth. This is to ensure the safety and security of the youth together with all other parties involved in the shoot or session.
Participants over 18 years are welcome to have a friend or acquittance attend they are not required however some models may wish for this. That person should also be available to assist where needed in the session or shoot to hold, move gear and provide general support to the model and team. The recommendation is a friend or acquittance, rather than a spouse or significant other as they may have an impact on the session or shoot or subconsciously create a unexpected element of 'control' or restriction involving the work flow.
If you have never been to a photoshoot before, I recommend you research 'modelling 101' as a topic online. I'm also more than happy to go through this with you prior to the photoshoot. Basically, its all about you having control in a photoshoot from the perspective of you personal comfort and safety. There are details and information put out by the industry, models etc and I suggest that you have a look at a few sources or just ask before we start a shoot and we can chat through this before we move to the release of agreement prior to the photo session. My goal is for you to really enjoy the photography experience, have confidence in your personal space and the work we will be doing together. I want all parts of out interaction to be enjoyable, fun and memorable for you to arrange another session or indeed recommend to your friends and family.
· Do you do events?
Yes, you can contact me to talk to you about your needs.
· I have my own photos, but would like to have them edited. Can you just do that?
I can provide an editing service if needed on a per image basis. Editing can range from the simple to more in-depth and time consuming work, depending on your requirement and the original image. Please remember, the quality of the output is highly dependant on the source image/file size and image depth. If you only have a damaged photo, or small JPG (JPEG) type file, the embedded image data/depth providing the fine detail will unfortunately not exist. I don't want to set a false expectation, so please contact me, we can the look at the image/s you want worked on, look at your requirements and talk through the output you can expect.
· Do you take commissions or assignments?
Yes, I do. More than happy to talk to you about your requirements. Please have an idea of context/scope, timelines (stage outputs or end dates), location, general ideas and use of the work and lets talk. If this is a commercial commission, images for use on the internet, advertising, point of sales / catalogue, television or any form of advertising then a licencing agreement will be provided for that use or term of use. Copyright or copyright ownership is not transferred and remain with the photographer.
· What are your prices, can we discuss these?

· But, the size or type of photograph I want is not shown. How can I get the size or type I want?
Just drop me a line, you can do this via my 'contact me' page, or you might like to call. I can arrange to supply the size and type of photograph or print that you were after, you are not limited to the variety of popular types included on-line. There is the option of adding a specific form, if available, as a selection on the site.
· Image quality, I want a big print, how will it look?
Photographs on the site were uploaded at very high resolution and full image sizes. This means prints at the 30" x 40" (76.2 x 101.6cm) poster size are in most cases the original image size. Prints smaller than this ordered are actually reduced from that size. The high resolution, allows clean and dynamic images all the way up through huge and monster prints. If you need something else, just contact us.
· Client access page, how can I get access to?
Only the individual clients can access their session galleries. If you are a friend or a family member of the client, you can contact them and ask them to give you the access code.
